How to build a gaming PC in Nepal
- Set your budget and use. Gaming, video editing and office work need very different parts. In a gaming PC, the graphics card takes the biggest share of the budget.
- Pick the processor, then a motherboard that fits it. The socket must match, for example AM4, AM5, LGA1700 or LGA1851. The motherboard then decides whether you need DDR4 or DDR5 memory.
- Add memory and storage. 16GB of RAM suits most games today, and an M.2 NVMe SSD makes Windows and games load quickly.
- Choose the graphics card and power supply. Get a power supply at or above the wattage the graphics card maker recommends.
- Pick a case and a UPS. The case must fit your motherboard size and graphics card length. A UPS protects the PC during power cuts and voltage swings.
PC builder questions
Does the PC builder check that parts are compatible?
Yes. It checks that the processor fits the motherboard socket, that the memory type (DDR3, DDR4 or DDR5) matches the motherboard, that the motherboard and graphics card fit the case, and that your power supply meets the graphics card maker's recommendation. If we don't have the data for a part yet, the builder tells you, and you can send the build to us on WhatsApp to check.
What does "Order on request" mean?
The part isn't in stock at Quality Computer right now, and its price may change by the time it arrives. You can still add it to your build and send the build to us on WhatsApp or as a quote request, and we will confirm the price and when it can arrive.
Are the prices up to date?
Yes. The builder uses the same live prices as our product pages, including any website discount. Prices can change, so please confirm before you pay.
Can I buy a ready-made PC instead?
Yes. Quality Computer also sells assembled PCs. Send us your budget on WhatsApp and we will suggest one.
Can I pay in EMI?
Yes, with a credit card. For PC parts it is a 20% down payment and 10% interest. See our EMI page for the details.
Do I need a UPS for a gaming PC?
We recommend one. Power cuts and voltage swings can damage a PC or corrupt your files. A UPS gives you time to save your work and shut down safely.
Should I choose Intel or AMD?
Both are good for gaming. Pick the processor first, because it decides which motherboard and memory you can use. The builder then shows only the parts that fit.
