Networking products buying guide: how to find the right one
Start with the job: better Wi-Fi, more wired ports, a cable, or a new connection for your computer. Each has its own section of the shop.
1. Better Wi-Fi at home or work
Routers, mesh systems, extenders and ceiling access points are on WiFi router price in Nepal. For internet from a SIM card on the move, see pocket WiFi price in Nepal.
2. More wired ports
A switch turns one router port into many. See network switch price in Nepal. If the switch also has to power CCTV cameras or access points over the cable, see PoE switch price in Nepal.
3. Ethernet cable, HDMI and the tools to fit them
For new wiring, Cat6 ethernet cable is the usual choice, and the standard limit for one run is 100 m. This page has 305 m Cat6 boxes such as the Havells Cat 6 Cable (305M/Roll) and Technos Cat 6, plus RJ45 jacks, the Bosi Modular Plug Crimping Tool and the Bosi Cable Tester. Ready-made patch cables, outdoor cable and HDMI cables are on ethernet and HDMI cable price in Nepal.

USB Wi-Fi adapters for desktops and older laptops are on USB adapter price in Nepal. Bluetooth adapters, a 2.5G Ethernet adapter and a PCI Wi-Fi card are on network adapter price in Nepal. For extra USB ports, HDMI on a USB-C laptop or a desk dock, see USB hub price in Nepal.

Networking products FAQ
What is the difference between a router, a switch and an access point?
The router is the box that links your network to the internet. A switch gives that network more cable ports, and an access point gives it Wi-Fi, usually from a ceiling or wall.
What do I need to run network cable to several rooms?
A 305 m box of Cat6, RJ45 jacks for the ends, a crimping tool to fit them and a cable tester to check each run. All four are on this page. For one short link, a ready-made patch cable is simpler.
What is a fiber media converter for?
It joins a fiber line to ordinary network cable. Fit a matching pair, one at each end of the fiber, to link two buildings or to cover a run far longer than copper cable allows.
