How much data does streaming a match use?
We couldn't find data-use figures from NetTV, so here's a rough guide from Netflix's figures: standard definition uses up to about 1GB an hour and HD up to about 3GB an hour. By that measure, NT's 8GB a day covers roughly 8 hours in standard definition, but under 3 hours in HD.
- On mobile data: pick a lower quality in the app, especially on double-header days.
- At home: stream over Wi-Fi. If your connection struggles in the evening, see our internet price comparison or a better WiFi router.
- Watching away from home with friends: a pocket WiFi lets several phones share one data SIM (see our pocket WiFi guide).
NPL 2026 ticket prices and how to buy
eSewa is the official ticketing partner this season. CAN set these prices:
| Matches | General | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| League matches | Rs 500 | Rs 1,000 |
| Eliminator and final | Rs 1,000 | Rs 2,000 |
We couldn't find announced prices for the two qualifiers, so check eSewa for those. To buy, open eSewa, search "NPL" (or look under travel and ticketing), choose the match and stand, and pay. According to Nepali Telecom's buying guide, you get a QR code in your eSewa statement or by email, but it is not the ticket itself: you collect a physical ticket at the venue before the match. The same guide warns that tickets can sell out within minutes.
New to eSewa? Our eSewa guide covers opening an account, KYC and loading money. Going to the ground? Your QR code lives on your phone, so charge it fully first; a power bank helps on long double-header days.
