Computer peripherals buying guide: how to find the right machine
This section covers the machines that work alongside a computer: printers and photocopiers, projectors and screens, scanners, lamination machines and equipment for shop counters. Start with the job you need done, then go to the page for that type.
1. Printers and photocopiers
For home and school printing, a colour ink tank printer like the Brother DCP-T520W All In One Ink Tank Color Printer or the Epson EcoTank L3260 also scans and copies. For an office that prints mostly text, a mono laser printer such as the Brother MFC-B7810DW is the usual choice. For heavy copying, look at photocopiers and multifunction machines like the Konica Minolta BH-247i B/W Photocopier and the Kyocera ECOSYS MA4000x.
See printer price in Nepal for every printer, and printing paper price in Nepal for A4 copy paper and photo paper.
2. Projectors and screens
Business projectors like the Epson EB-W53 WXGA 3LCD Multimedia Business Projector suit classrooms and meeting rooms, and small LED projectors from Wanbo, Ant Esports and BYINTEK suit a dark room at home. Compare brightness in ANSI lumens and check the native resolution. See projectors, and for help choosing, read projector price in Nepal.
A screen gives a smoother, more even picture than a wall. Tripod screens move between rooms, wall-mount screens stay in one, and electric screens suit halls. See projector screen price in Nepal.
3. Scanners and lamination machines
A flatbed scanner suits photos, books and certificates, and a sheet-fed document scanner suits stacks of office files. Some models do both. See scanner price in Nepal.
A3 lamination machines protect certificates, ID cards, menus and notices, and they take smaller pouches too. See lamination machine price in Nepal.
4. Shop counter and office equipment
This page also lists billing and office equipment. Thermal receipt printers like the ZKTeco ZKP8005 Thermal Receipt Printer print bills, and the xLab 3" Thermal Kitchen Printer XP-896W prints order slips for a restaurant kitchen. Barcode label printers from xLab print price and product stickers. The Zebra ZD230TA Thermal Transfer Barcode Printer uses a ribbon, which Zebra says gives longer-lasting labels than direct thermal printing (Zebra).
For the counter, there is the x-Lab XBS-070 table-top barcode scanner and the Zonerich ZQ T9150 15" touch screen POS terminal. Offices will also find the x-Lab XPB-4160 Telephone PABX, the King Life LC-101-NP cheque writer and a BOLEIN 6U network rack.

Computer peripherals FAQ
Do you sell photocopy machines?
Yes. This page lists the Konica Minolta BH-247i B/W Photocopier and the Kyocera ECOSYS MA4000x Multifunction Printer, and the printer page has more multifunction models that copy, print and scan.
Which printer do I need for bills and barcode labels?
A thermal receipt printer for bills, such as the ZKTeco ZKP8005, and a barcode label printer for stickers, such as the xLab XBLP models. Direct thermal printers need no ink or ribbon. A thermal transfer printer like the Zebra ZD230TA uses a ribbon for labels that last longer. Label rolls are on the printing paper page.
What do I need to run a projector in a classroom or hall?
A projector bright enough for the room, a screen sized to fit it, and a cable that matches your laptop, usually HDMI. Measure how far back the projector can sit before you choose the screen size.
Do you deliver peripherals outside Birtamode?
Yes. We usually deliver all over Nepal in 2 to 5 days, and delivery is free within 15 km on products over Rs 5,000.
