Short answer: The Series is the all-round choice, the Ultra adds a tougher case and longer battery life for outdoor use, and the SE is the lower-cost option. Every Apple Watch needs an iPhone to set up, and you should check the cellular question below before paying extra for a cellular model. Apple’s 2026 lineup: Series 12, Ultra 4 and SE 3
On 9 September 2026 Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, which went on sale on 18 September. Apple now sells three models; the Series 11 and Ultra 3 were dropped from Apple’s own line-up, though shops like ours still sell them.

What’s new: the Series 12 adds a new health sensing system that checks heart rate every 5 seconds, a 0 to 10 Readiness score, tougher Ceramic Shield 2 glass on aluminium models, and fast charging to 80% in about 30 minutes. The Ultra 4 keeps the 49mm titanium case, gets 3,000-nit brightness, satellite messaging and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode.
Which Apple Watch should you buy?
- Most people: the Series 11 (Rs 79,000). It runs watchOS 27 and is the newest model we sell today.
- Slightly cheaper: the Series 10 42mm (Rs 77,999). It also gets watchOS 27.
- Trekking, swimming and long battery: the Ultra 3 (Rs 155,000), with a 49mm titanium case built for the outdoors.
- Waiting for the newest: ask us about the Series 12 and Ultra 4. They aren’t on our website yet.
Does Apple Watch cellular work in Nepal?
No. Apple’s list of Apple Watch cellular carriers doesn’t include Nepal, Ncell or Nepal Telecom, and Apple says your iPhone and watch must be on the same supported carrier, with prepaid plans not supported. A GPS model still handles calls and messages through your paired iPhone, health tracking and workouts.
Which iPhones work with Apple Watch?
Apple says the Series 12, Ultra 4 and SE 3 need an iPhone 11 or later with iOS 27. watchOS 27 runs on the SE 3, Series 9, 10 and 11, and Ultra 2 and 3; it dropped the SE (2nd generation), Series 6, 7 and 8 and the first Ultra. Apple Watch doesn’t work with Android phones.
