Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra Price in Nepal (2026): Launch Price, Updates and Is It Still Worth Buying?
Updated 28 October 2026. Launch prices are Samsung’s official Nepal prices from 2022 and 2023. Neither phone is on Samsung’s current Nepal price list, so today’s prices depend on the seller, and most will be second-hand.
Short answer: Neither phone is sold new by Samsung Nepal any more: both are missing from the October 2026 Samsung price list. The Galaxy S23 Ultra launched in Nepal in February 2023 at Rs 191,999 (256GB) and Rs 209,999 (512GB). The Galaxy S22 Ultra launched in March 2022 at Rs 159,999 (256GB) and Rs 169,999 (512GB). The S23 Ultra started getting its last major Android update on 14 October 2026; the S22 Ultra already had its last one in 2025. A new Galaxy S25 Ultra costs Rs 184,999 and the S26 Ultra Rs 224,999.
Galaxy S23 Ultra price in Nepal
| Variant | Launch price in Nepal | July 2023 cashback offer |
|---|---|---|
| 256GB | Rs 191,999 | Rs 179,999 (Rs 12,000 cashback) |
| 12GB / 512GB | Rs 209,999 | Rs 189,999 (Rs 20,000 cashback) |
Samsung unveiled the S23 series in Nepal at the Hyatt on 9 February 2023, with pre-orders until 22 February that included 0% EMI from Rs 6,400 a month, one year of breakage insurance and up to Rs 8,000 in exchange value. Sources disagree on whether the 256GB model had 8GB or 12GB of RAM; the price was the same either way. We found no permanent price cut after launch, and no official 2025 or 2026 price.
Galaxy S22 Ultra price in Nepal
| Variant | Launch price (March 2022) | Later price |
|---|---|---|
| 12GB / 256GB | Rs 159,999 | Rs 179,999 by July 2023, with Rs 10,000 cashback (Rs 169,999) |
| 12GB / 512GB | Rs 169,999 | Rs 179,999 after a Rs 10,000 rise in early 2023 |
The S22 Ultra went on sale in Nepal on 15 March 2022. Its price went up after launch: an excise duty rise in July 2022 pushed it higher, and a further Rs 10,000 rise followed in early 2023. Published figures for the in-between prices do not all match, so treat the "later price" column as approximate.

Should you buy a Galaxy S23 Ultra or S22 Ultra in 2026?
- Galaxy S23 Ultra: still a good second-hand buy if the price is right. It has the built-in S Pen and has just started getting its final Android version, with security updates expected for at least another year.
- Galaxy S22 Ultra: only worth it if it is very cheap. It gets no more Android versions, and security updates are now quarterly and stop from 2027.
- New instead: the Galaxy S25 Ultra (Rs 184,999) costs less today than the S23 Ultra did at launch and comes with seven years of updates and an official warranty. See our S25 Ultra and S26 Ultra guides.
