Will it show 8K on my TV?
No. Rockchip’s datasheet for the RK3528 lists video playback up to 4K at 60fps and HDMI output up to 4K 60Hz, so the picture on your TV tops out at 4K.
Will Netflix play in HD?
Probably not. Netflix needs a Google-certified device with Widevine L1 for HD, and this box doesn’t list that certification. Expect Netflix at standard definition.
Does it support HDR?
Yes, HDR10 and HLG. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision aren’t listed for this chip.
Can I play movies from a pendrive?
Yes. Plug a USB pendrive or hard drive into one of the USB ports.
