Samsung is set to unveil its most awaited flagship, the SAMSUNG GALAXY S25 ULTRA, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 12, 2025. This highly anticipated flagship model will bring significant advancements in design, performance, and features.

Design and Display
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature more rounded corners and a refined design. It will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X LPTO display with a WQHD resolution (3120 x 1440 Pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will use more powerful 2nd generation Corning Gorilla Armor Glass and will have even thinner bezels than the competition.
The design of the S25 Ultra will closely resemble the S24 Ultra but with a 5-camera ring setup. Meanwhile, the front has an identical hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

Performance
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset combined with RAM up to 16GB and storage up to 1TB. It is reported to come with features such as dual-SIM capability (with e-SIM support), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 which was announced in October.
Camera System
The Galaxy S25 ultra will have a 200MP main camera sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and will feature a single 12 MP front camera.
This aims to deliver high-quality photos across various lighting conditions.
Battery and Charging
The device is rumored to house a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging, 25W wireless (Qi2/PMA), and 4.5W reverse wireless charging capabilities, ensuring prolonged usage and quick recharge times.
Software and AI Integration
The S25 Ultra will run on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7, it will introduce “Galaxy AI” advanced artificial intelligence designed to make the user experience better through intelligent features and optimizations.
According to current leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come bundled with a free subscription to Google's "Gemini Advanced" AI, which is typically a paid subscription service. The S25 Ultra may receive a full year of access to Gemini Advanced, while the standard models may have shorter trial periods.
