Samsung Galaxy A57 Price in Nepal (November 2026): Specs, Price Rise and Is It Worth It?
Short answer: the Samsung Galaxy A57 price in Nepal is Rs 96,999 for 8GB/256GB and Rs 107,999 for 12GB/256GB, up from launch prices of Rs 84,999 and Rs 89,999. You get a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, Exynos 1680, IP68 and six years of updates in a 6.9 mm body, but no memory card slot.

Samsung Nepal has since raised the price, by Rs 12,000 on the 8GB model and Rs 18,000 on the 12GB model. The new prices were on Samsung's Nepal store (12GB) and at Nepali retailers when we checked on 4 November 2026. Some of Samsung SmartLife's blog pages still show old launch or pre-launch prices, so go by the product page or ask the dealer.
- Colours in Nepal: Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray and Awesome Lilac (ICT Frame).
- Warranty: 1 year, and Samsung's store gives a free 25W charger with the phone.
- EMI: at launch, Samsung offered 24-month EMI through Samsung Insta Finance (run by Hulas Finserve) with only a citizenship card (MyRepublica). The monthly figures published in April used launch prices, so ask the dealer whether the plan still runs and for today's terms.

Two things buyers miss. There is no microSD slot, so pick 256GB carefully if you shoot a lot of 4K video. And IP68 means fresh water: Samsung doesn't recommend it for the beach or the pool.
Galaxy A57 vs Galaxy A56: what changed?
The A57 is a refinement, not a big jump. What's new:
- Thinner and lighter: 6.9 mm and 179 g, against 7.4 mm and 198 g on the A56.
- Better water rating: IP68, up from IP67.
- New chip: Exynos 1680 in place of the Exynos 1580, with a 13% larger vapour chamber for cooling.
- Newer software: Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box, with new AI tools such as Auto Trim for video and Voice Transcription.
What stays the same: the 6.7-inch screen, the 50MP + 12MP + 5MP cameras, the 5,000mAh battery and 45W charging (Android Central). If you already own an A56, there's little reason to upgrade. If you're buying new, compare prices in our Galaxy A56 price in Nepal guide first.
Is the Galaxy A57 worth buying?
Buy it if you want a slim, water-resistant Samsung with a sharp AMOLED screen and six years of security updates. Six OS upgrades is a long promise for a phone at this price.
Skip it if you want the fastest chip for the money, or you need a memory card. Near this price in Nepal:
- POCO F8 Pro (launched at Rs 99,999 for 12/512GB in February 2026): a Snapdragon 8 Elite, far faster for gaming, with 100W charging (Nepali Telecom, eKantipur).
- Honor 600 (launched at Rs 84,999 for 8/256GB in May 2026): cheaper, with a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging (eKantipur, ShareSansar).

Quick verdict: the A57 is a well-made, long-supported Samsung, but the 2026 price rise hurts. The 8GB/256GB at Rs 96,999 is the one to buy; the extra Rs 11,000 for 12GB isn't worth it for most people. If performance matters more than the Samsung badge, look at the POCO F8 Pro.
