Canon LBP2900 driver for Windows 11 and Mac
This is the catch. Canon’s 64-bit Windows driver for the LBP2900 (CAPT R1.50 Ver.3.30, updated 14 February 2017) lists Windows 10 as its newest supported system and does not list Windows 11. Canon’s Mac CAPT driver (2018) doesn’t include the LBP2900 at all. If your office runs Windows 11 or a Mac, check that you can install it before you buy, or pick a newer printer.

Canon Pixma G-series ink tank printers
Canon’s current G-series ink tanks, such as the Pixma G3770 (Wi-Fi) and G2730 (USB), print, scan and copy at 11 pages a minute in black and 6 in colour, at up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. A GI-71 black bottle is rated for 6,000 pages (7,600 in Economy Mode) and each colour bottle for 7,700 pages. The G3770 supports AirPrint and Mopria for phone printing, and Canon recommends 150 to 1,500 pages a month. Canon’s warranty covers the printer body, not the ink.
We list the earlier Pixma G2010 (print, scan and copy) at Rs 17,500.
