Prices checked on 7 November 2026.
Our pick is the HiFuture Pocket S. At Rs 2,299 it is the cheapest IPX7 speaker we sell, and the magnetic clip lets it hang from a bag strap. If you want stereo sound in a room instead, the BS159 has two drivers and a bigger battery.
Water-resistant portable speakers, Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000
This is the sweet spot for picnics, rooftops and treks. Each one below is rated against water, and the bigger two use a separate woofer and tweeter.
| Model | Output | Battery | Water rating | Our price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HiFuture Lino S | 12W | Up to 10 hours | IPX7 | Rs 5,525 |
| WiWU Thunder P24 | Not listed | 1,500mAh, 4 to 6 hours | IPX6 | Rs 6,500 |
| HiFuture Ripple | 30W (20W woofer + 10W tweeter) | 4,000mAh, up to 12 hours | IPX7 | Rs 7,400 |
| HiFuture Gravity | 45W (30W woofer + 15W tweeter) | 4,000mAh, up to 8 hours | IPX7 | Rs 9,350 |
Prices checked on 7 November 2026. The Ripple and Gravity are Available in black.
We think the HiFuture Ripple at Rs 7,400 is the best all-rounder here: 30W, IPX7 and up to 12 hours. Pay Rs 1,950 more for the Gravity if you want RGB lights and the option to pair two speakers for stereo. Our listing says the Lino S supports Auracast, so it should be able to play the same music as other Auracast speakers.

Party, karaoke and trolley speaker prices
For a wedding night, a Deusi-Bhailo group or an office party, you need a bigger box. Four of these come with two wireless mics for karaoke.
| Model | Output | Mics in the box | Battery | Our price |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| HiFuture Boombeat Go | 350W peak | 2 wireless | Up to 12 hours | Rs 34,900 |
Prices checked on 7 November 2026. The MusicBox is Available in black and the Passion X in Latte.
For karaoke at home, the HiFuture MusicBox 200 is the one we'd take: 100W, two wireless mics and a 12,000mAh battery that also charges a phone. On a tighter budget, the SonicGear IOX K800 does karaoke for Rs 11,520. For a trolley speaker, the Osaka 15-inch rolls on wheels and runs on its battery or mains power, which matters for a long programme.
PC, desk and soundbar speakers
Desk speakers plug into a laptop or PC and stay put. Most take power from USB, so you don't need another socket.

| Creative Stage 2.1 | Under-monitor soundbar with subwoofer | Bluetooth, optical, TV ARC, AUX, USB | Rs 19,999 |
Prices checked on 7 November 2026. Creative Stage specs from Creative.
For a study table, the Rs 1,450 Rapoo A60 is plenty. For a TV or an ultrawide monitor, the Creative Stage is a different class: Creative rates it at 80W RMS in total (2 x 20W in the soundbar plus a 40W subwoofer) and 160W peak, and it connects to a TV with one cable over ARC. More desk ideas are in our computer accessories guide.
What about JBL, Ultima and LP speakers?
JBL: we sell the JBL Go 5, Clip 5, Grip and Flip 7, from Rs 7,900 to Rs 19,900 on our website today. Prices change, so check our JBL store page for the current ones. Our JBL speaker guide covers their specs and which one to pick, so we won't repeat it here.
Ultima S20 and LP V9: plenty of people search for these, but both are out of stock on our website as of 7 November 2026. For an RGB party speaker like the S20, the HiFuture Gravity (45W, IPX7, RGB, two-speaker pairing) is the closest we have. For a small wireless speaker like the LP V9, try the Fantech NeraBox BS154.
How to choose a Bluetooth speaker
- Watts: read RMS, not peak. SonicGear lists the Audiox PRO 600HD at 90W total but 45W RMS, and the IOX K800 at 40W total but 20W RMS. Creative rates the Stage at 80W RMS and 160W peak. The big number on the box is usually the peak.
- Water rating: under the IP code (IEC 60529), IPX5 means protected against water jets, IPX6 against powerful jets, and IPX7 against immersion up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. The X means there is no dust rating.
- Battery: compare hours at the same volume. Our listings quote the BS159's 8 hours and the K800's 6 hours at 50% volume, so expect less at full volume.
- Pairing: TWS lets you link two of the same speaker for stereo (Gravity, Audiox PRO 600HD, P15 Max, MusicBox 200, Passion X). Auracast is Bluetooth's broadcast feature for sharing audio to many devices at once; our listing says the Lino S can link up to 100.
- Mics: for karaoke, make sure wireless mics are in the box. A built-in mic is for phone calls, not singing.
- Room size: our rule of thumb is 5 to 12W for a bedroom, 30 to 45W for a living room or rooftop, and 100W or more for an outdoor party.
Which speaker should you buy?
By budget
- Under Rs 2,000: Fantech NeraBox BS154 (Rs 1,620).

- Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000: HiFuture Ripple (Rs 7,400).
- Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000: SonicGear IOX K800 (Rs 11,520) or HiFuture MusicBox 200 (Rs 19,900) for karaoke.
- Above Rs 20,000: Osaka 15-inch trolley (Rs 24,000) or HiFuture Boombeat Go (Rs 34,900) for events.
By use
- Your room or hostel: BS159 for music, or the Creative Stage under a TV or monitor.
- Parties: MusicBox 200 for homes, Boombeat Go for outdoor crowds.
- Travel and treks: HiFuture Pocket S, at 77 g with IPX7 and a clip.
- Online classes and Zoom: earbuds or a headset keep your voice clear and the room quiet; see our earbuds price list and headphones guide. For louder laptop sound alone, the Rapoo A60 is enough.
- Gifts: the BS154 or Pocket S; our Bhai Tika gift ideas have more under Rs 5,000.
Quick verdict: buy the HiFuture Pocket S (Rs 2,299) for a small waterproof speaker, the HiFuture Ripple (Rs 7,400) as the best all-rounder, and the HiFuture MusicBox 200 (Rs 19,900) for karaoke and parties.
