Short answer: The iPad (A16) is enough for study, video and notes; the iPad Air (M4) is faster and better suited to heavier work such as drawing and editing, and will stay quick for longer. New iPad mini with OLED (announced 26 October 2026)
Apple announced a new iPad mini with an 8.5-inch OLED display, the A20 Pro chip and a 5.4 mm body. It starts at US$699 for Wi-Fi and US$849 for Wi-Fi + Cellular, with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options. Pre-orders open on 28 October and sales start on 6 November 2026 in the first 36 countries and regions (Apple). Apple has not announced a Nepal price; we will update this page when it reaches Nepal.
