Started from 2nd July 2025, the show airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM on Himalaya Television, this exciting new platform provides aspiring Nepali entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of seasoned investors known as "Sharks” in hopes of securing funding and mentorship.

What is Shark Tank Nepal?

Following the classic Shark Tank format, entrepreneurs with registered businesses (operational for at least one year) pitch their ideas to five seasoned business leaders. In exchange for investment, founders offer equity or debt, negotiating live with the Sharks. Even those who don’t secure a deal benefit from national exposure, expert feedback, and the chance to expand their network.

  • The first episode (2nd July 2025) featured four entrepreneurs pitching their startups to the panel of five Sharks in which 3 out of the 4 startups secured promising investment deals.

  • Notable deals included:

    • Bhola Foods, impressed the Sharks with a solid business model focused on local food products walked away with an investment deal worth 1 crore Nepali rupees.
    • Sandhya Pote House, a startup of homemade Nepali ‘pote’ (wrapped) delicacies struck a deal of 20 Lakhs Nepali rupees with Shark Cabinet Shrestha. 

    • Art Mayaknown for its Custom art pieces or cultural merchandise (creative/Nepali-themed artworks) secured a massive investment of 3 crore Nepali rupees investment.

  • The second episode (3rd July 2025) continued the excitement with four more entrepreneurs stepping into the tank to pitch their innovative ventures to the panel of five Sharks where 2 out of the 4 startups successfully secured investment deals
  • Notable deals included:
    • Mero coding , founded by two Chartered Accountants, which secured an impressive investment of 1.02 crore Nepali rupees for their tech-based coding education platform targeting young students.
    • Saathi Pads , a social enterprise focused on biodegradable sanitary pads made from banana fiber, walked away with a 50 lakh Nepali rupees investment to expand its mission of sustainable menstrual health solutions

  • The third episode (9th July 2025) of Shark Tank Nepal kept the entrepreneurial energy high with four startups entering the tank to pitch their unique products and ideas. Out of the 4 pitches, 2 startups secured investment deals from the Sharks.
  • Notable deals included:
    • MoonWalk, a skincare brand offering naturally formulated homemade products, successfully secured a deal of Rs 30 lakhs for 20% equity to help grow their natural beauty line.

    • Neil Orthotics, known for its eco-friendly and biomechanically engineered orthotic products for pain relief, received Rs 60 lakhs for 30% equity, supporting their mission of accessible and sustainable healthcare solutions.

  • The fourth episode (10th July 2025) continued the excitement with four more entrepreneurs stepping into the tank to pitch their innovative ventures to the panel of five Sharks, where 2 out of the 4 startups successfully secured investment deals.
  • Notable deals included:
    • Jay Deurali Krishi Farm, a venture specializing in kiwi-based value-added products like pickles, wine, and juice, secured an investment of 50 lakh Nepali rupees for 30% equity, along with an exit policy agreement.

    • Veda, an ERP software solution designed to streamline school and student data management, landed a significant deal of 6 crore Nepali rupees for 20% equity, coupled with a performance-based KPI clause.
